FullCity Consulting is a Platinum member of the FileMaker Business Alliance with offices in New York’s Hudson Valley, equidistant from New York City and Albany. We have more than 25 combined years experience in developing customized FileMaker database solutions and web sites. Our business is helping businesses grow at both the workgroup and enterprise levels … and to design systems that keep growing with them. We are deeply committed to being a ‘partner’ in helping our clients learn to use their data tools, and in getting the most out of them.

We also believe in fostering the already strong community of FileMaker professionals. With this in mind FullCity Consulting coordinates and hosts the New Jersey FileMaker Pro User’s Group and the Upstate New York FileMaker Developers Group.

Our Staff:

Adam Aronson, President & Lead Analyst
Adam Aronson founded FullCity Consulting, Inc. in 2000. “I am a process geek,” he says. “My personal obsession is designing data solutions that increase the efficiency of my client’s business operations.”

Adam was an educational sales consultant for Apple Computer before becoming a FileMaker professional, and was among the first to earn his FileMaker certification when the program went live. He is currently certified in FileMaker 7, 8 and 9.

Earlier in his career, he managed FileMaker database systems for advertising and television production at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and provided 24/7 personal computer support for Ms. Stewart. Adam managed the IT side of the advertising department at Toys ‘R Us and was database manager for Bloomingdale’s wedding registry website. (See clients for more on FullCity’s portfolio)

“I started FullCity Consulting because I wanted to manifest some of the ideas I had about FileMaker. It’s such a great tool for transforming business operations into software solutions. My job is to show people how to get the most out of FileMaker.”

When he's not at the whiteboard or keyboard you can find Adam in his woodworking shop crafting and designing in a more analog medium. Adam, his wife Rebekah and their daughter Julia love living in New York's Hudson River Valley.

Darren La Padula, Lead Web Developer & Senior Analyst
Darren La Padula, former owner of OnlineApplications Group, is FullCity’s resident specialist in developing PHP applications and integrating PHP with FileMaker. He has designed many different types of applications including shopping carts, personnel administration, intranets, donor tracking and payroll. He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft Certified Professional.

“I started in high school with ‘Basic’ on my trusty Commodore 64,” says Darren, “and have been a programming junkie ever since. Give me a good book, internet access and someone with practical know-how to bounce things off, and I can find a solution to
almost any issue.”

As Senior Systems Support Specialist for CBORD, Darren installed database systems for a proprietary dining management system at colleges and hospitals across North America. He trained clients and provided support for systems over telephone.

Darren was a Systems Engineer for Integrated Office Technologies. He designed, installed and supported Microsoft and Netware-based networking systems for small businesses across NY state, including file/print/email/database servers, workstations and internet connectivity.  He is fluent in Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, Novell Netware and other systems.

The newest full-time member of FullCity’s team lives on a Christmas tree farm with his wife of 14 years, two sons and a Great Dane named Obi.

Debi Rubel, Senior Analyst
"I have a knack for discovering business rules," says Debi Rubel, FullCity's Senior Analyst. "Asking questions is a natural way for me to understand how a client's business processes work, and what solutions would improve operations. When does this need to happen? How should that information look? My mind just works that way."

A self-described "Central Jersey Gal," Debi was an early Mac adopter and has been working with FileMaker for two decades. Her work experience includes the government, education, non-profit and corporate sectors. She is a Certified FileMaker 8 and 9 Developer.

Debi began building databases as Program Director of the New Jersey State Teen Arts Program, where she managed information about students, teachers and schools, artwork used in tours and publications, artists and staff for statewide events, and grants and budgets.

She has provided FileMaker training to corporations such as Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, Stat-A-Matrix and Schering-Plough. Recently, she worked as a FileMaker Developer for a music program based in Princeton where she provided support for local staff and hundreds of program operators internationally.

"Wherever I go," says Debi, "I'm always analyzing. I love learning new subjects and turning complicated processes into solutions.”

In her spare time, Debi enjoys dancing, gardening, crafts and contact juggling. She lives with her husband Sam Missimer and their three cats.
